At the end of each year, in May or June, Ballet Bras d'Or holds a gala performance as a presentation of the students' accomplishments over the year.

Alice in Wonderland - 2003
On May 31, 2003, the 70 students of Ballet Bras d'Or School of Dance presented 'Alice in Wonderland and Other Musical Works'. This event was held at Strathspey Place in Mabou to a full house! Below are some photos that capture a few highlights of the show.
2004 Recital
The Little Prince - 2005
The Little Prince tells the story of a downed pilot who, while frantically trying to repair his plane, is interupted by a litle Prince who asks him to draw a sheep. The Little Prince then describes his journey from planet to planet, each tiny world populated by a single adult.
The Book of the Jungle - 2006
The Book of the Jungle was presented at Strathspey Place in Mabou. A choreography based on the wonderful story by Rudyard Kipling set in the jungles of India.
The Malachite Palace
On June 13, 2008, at Strasthpey Place in Mabou, Ballet Bras 'Or presented 'The Malachite Palace' an original fairy tale by Alma Flor Ada and published by Del Sol Books.
The story celebrates the importance of freedom and the need to take responsibility for one's own freedom. Although the queen, the governess, and the lady-in-waiting all believe that the young princess is too delicate and refined to play with the neighborhood children, the princess herself decides otherwise.
Winters Dreaming
A lonely young girl named Winter, too shy to join a group of young skaters, dances with snowflakes, ravens, trees, snow princesses and the moon and sun.
